2023 Scholarship Applications

Applications will be available soon for the Bob Fryer and Press Club 2023 scholarships. Watch this site for more information and the form. The awards are $5,000 and $2,500 respectively.

College students in the 29-county area that the Press Club of Western Pennsylvania covers are eligible to apply. Candidates must be current sophomores or juniors enrolled in an accredited college or university. Seniors who have a semester left to complete their degrees and will return to their college or university in the fall can also apply.

The deadline for applications is Feb. 10, 2023. The scholarship committee will review applications and award the scholarships. The winner will be notified by April 15, 2023.
