We’re proud to have awarded more than $40,000 from these scholarships in the past 15 years and are committed to ensuring Pittsburgh-area students that want to pursue journalist have the support and mentorship they need to start their careers.
The Press Club of Western Pennsylvania is proud to support two students each year through the Bob Fryer Memorial Scholarship and the Press Club of Western Pennsylvania Scholarship.
Gabriella Hornack was awarded the 2021 Bob Fryer Memorial Scholarship.
Peyton Schaffer is the recipient of the 2022 Press Club Scholarship.
Lilly Riddle is the recipient of the 2022 Bob Fryer Memorial Scholarship.
Colton DeBiase won the 2021 Press Club of Western Pennsylvania Scholarship.
